Lazuli And Moon Safari Announce Joint UK Tour
Lazuli and Moon Safari, two of Europe’s fastest rising prog bands, have announced a Prog-sponsored, joint-headline UK tour for November!
The five-date jaunt will, be the first time that French proggers Lazuli have actually toured the UK, although of course they have played two hugely celebrated gigs at Summer’s End Festival in both 2011 and 2013. Moon Safari were last seen on these shores towards the end of last year. Both bands will be promoting new works, with Lazuli currently working on their fifth album, due to be released this spring and Moon Safari will be promoting Himlabacken Vol. 2, the follow-up to last year’s well-received Himlabacken Vol. 1.
Both bands will play:
Southampton Talking Heads – November 26
Cardiff The Globe – November 27
TBC – November 28
London The Borderline – November 29
Bilston Robin 2 – November 30
“It is absolutely wonderful to have two of Europe’s most creative and original bands appearing on the same bill,” says tour promoter Nellie Pitts, of The Merch Desk. “Anyone who saw Lazuli either at Summers End shows or on one of their many European dates such as Loreley will be aware of how stunningly brilliant they both look and sound. Moon Safari also has an ever-growing following in the UK so we are thrilled they are coming back to enchant us once again with their special brand of harmonic prog.”
