Billy Sherwood’s Art Of Survival
Billy Sherwood has released his sixth solo album, The Art of Survival, in which he explores controversial issues affecting the world as we know it.
Song titles include Drone Decipher, Chosen by Divinity, The Military Industrial Complex and Whose Side Are We On, dealing with subjects including paranoia, propaganda, surveillance and faith.
Sherwood says: “The idea of the CD is how the integration of politics, technology and zealotry mix and mingle.”
He’s also producing albums for Nektar and Day Between Stations, having completed work on his Prog Collective and Fusion Syndicate projects.
And he’s planning a Circa: live album and adds: “we’re discussing making a new studio record as well.”
Sherwood and the Prog Collective will take part in the Moody Blues’ Moodies Cruise, sailing to Jamaica between March 20 and 25 next year. The experience also features the Strawbs, the Zombies, Little River Band, Ambrosia, Stephen Bishop, Asia and others.
