Kim’s Touchstone Tour Diary – Day Four
Hello and happy Friday!
So today we have hit the road again and today’s journey brings us to sunny London. We’re always excited about playing the Garage as it has brought us many fun experiences in the past. We’re additionally grateful for making it here as someone nicked the exhaust/catalytic converter overnight from the van we were due to drive. This situation had a silver lining as it meant we were given a posher van. Boom.
As part of a fund raising exercise for Breast Cancer research, I’ll also be sporting a bright pink ball dress all day. Never before have I looked so glamorous walking into a petrol station food court in Hemel Hempstead. This combined with the fact that Cotters has his black leather gloves with him has also made for some jolly japes. I’d like to say “Rock ‘n’ Roll!” but after using the term ‘jolly japes’ I think I’ve lost all authority to do that. I dread to think how events will unfold when we all get on the beers later though; I might tell you, I might not, depends how many law suits it will provoke.
Everything is being set up now and sound checks will start soon, so I look forward to updating you with the results of the night tomorrow, and I look forward to seeing you later!!
Love ‘n’ hugs,
